Welcome to Ruth Ellen Dance

Ruth Ellen Dance offers a high standard of dance teaching and tuition to a variety of different age groups. 

Classes are held in Royston where we hire Queens Road Methodist Church for the younger ages and then move to a fully equipped dance studio at The Dance College for the older age groups.  Benefits include a sprung, dance flooring and mirrors.  Royston is in easy reach from surrounding towns Buntingford, Baldock and Letchworth and from all surrounding villages. 

Classes also take place in Clifton, Bedfordshire.  Clifton is a village situated close to Henlow, Stotfold, Shefford, Arlesey, Campton and Langford. Within easy reach from the A507 and A1. 

Ruth Ellen Dance Schools are committed to provided an excellent training, covering a variety of genres. Classes offered include Graded RAD Ballet and ISTD Modern and Tap.  Vocational classes in RAD and ISTD Ballet and ISTD Modern and Tap, Jazz, Creative Movement and Stretch classes are also timetabled.

Ruth Ellen Dance also offers Distance Learning Tutoring for the ISTD Foundation in Dance Instruction (FDI) and Certificate in Dance Education (CDE).  Units offered include Health and Safety in Dance, Lifespan Development and Learning in Dance and Background to a Chosen Dance Genre.

Revision workshops and one off lectures are also offered as well as private tutoring for FDI and CDE Ballet Examinations.
